M Residence Backyard Design Project “A Garden of Ribbon”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recently worked on a local single-home residential project in Pennsylvania as one of my private projects. I have been working on larger-scale projects throughout my career, so this was a great opportunity for me to focus on small space quality, user experiences, planting design, details, and cost control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was collaborative work with the client through several consultations to recognize their needs, issues, and possibilities. They are a young couple with a little child, and it was such a pleasure and fun thinking how to make their everyday life and future better through this landscape design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I set the concept of the design as \u201c A Garden of ribbon\u201d. The Colorful flow of planting is like a ribbon, wrapping around the residence and yard, embracing people and their life inside of the space. The \u201cGarden of Ribbon\u201d will bring joy and fun memories to the owner\u2019s family and their friends, which will be a true gift to them over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
